I made 36 large mitten cookies for a Christmas Cookie Exchange Party. They turned out great, though I wanted to decorate them up a little more, but at 9pm when I finished, I couldn't stay up another 2 hours for more embellishments! It was about an 8 hour project. I was only able to bake 6 mittens at a time on the cookie sheet, and each sheet baked 20 minutes. You add on rolling time and cut out time, and decorating, and 8 hours later I was done. The only thing I will do differently next time......bake the cookies a day or so ahead of time!
The boys went to the party too, and they had cookie decorating time, and also a book exchange!
