Well not much is new in the last week other that we have had a lot of rain in San Diego. 
It isn't going to be sunny until Wednesday of next week according the the weather channel. This makes for a lot of activities indoors for the kids. After the rain clears out though, I think our temperatures will remain low, and officially Fall is here. 
I love Fall, followed by Winter. I love the temperatures, the activities in the city, the colors, and of course the magazines and cooking/baking that go along with the cold. I have already bought 2 magazines last week regarding baking cookies, as there may be a couple cookie exchanges before the year's end. 
Little Justin helped his dad to make a fence in the front left of our house. It is a beautiful 6 ft. privacy fence with a gate. Justin dug every hole at least 2 ft for the metal poles all by himself- as he wanted to earn money for a "job". We were going to pay someone to dig the holes, but he volunteered his muscles. He did soooo good through hard dirt, and rock, and didn't complain once. So with the money he earned, and the money he had saved up, he bought himself a gift.

We threw in the new dvd player and the wall mount. It looks so nice in his room. We just have to snake some wires up the wall to a higher point so that there aren't wired coming off the dvd and tv down the wall to the outlet. It looks a little funny.

It looks a little funny.We also got some remnant carpeting yesterday at Home Depot that was hugely reduced. It is a light brown and a great pile. It was such a great deal, we couldn't pass it up. 
So we put it in Justin's room, and it fit! almost perfectly!!! We cleaned up his room and toys, and the paint looks great from a couple months ago still. It is now the best room in the house! Even Justin last night before bed bent down to feel his carpet, and said...."Mama, do you want to feel my carpet floor?" All the boys want to be in there now. Even we miss carpet. The whole house has that wood flooring from Ikea. I thought it would be nice to have a house with wood flooring, but we really don't like it at all. And we will eventually lay carpet in the house except the kitchen and dining area in time.

Justin and Dillon haven't been able to go to golf lessons due to the weather, but hopefully next week it will resume. We are all going to Seaworld on Nov. 3rd with other kids from our charter school. So that will be fun. We haven't been there in well over a year now.
Dillon is doing well too. He has one of our laptops in his room, and likes to go to some pre-approved websites for some fun and games. He really had had fun with that, and Hunter likes to go in there and they sit side by side and play the games. Mostly it is Electric Company on PBS, or build a car or build a robot stuff.
Hunter is having fun too. He is such a little helper around the house. Letting the dog out, turning on fans, picking up toys or laundry. His favorite thing to do???? Go anywhere in the truck. We haven't been out in the golf cart lately, but he will go and sit on it in the garage if we are putting a load in the washer or dryer and pretend to drive.
I have to work the next 4 nights, but hopefully next week we can get out of the house and enjoy the weather again!
