I was sleeping Friday in preparation for my night shift, and I felt Hunter get onto the bed. I turned my head to the right, as he was coming up my left side. He scooted off the bed, and got back on heading up to my head on the right, so I turned my head to the left. Really, I was just pretending to sleep at this point, hoping he would leave and go play. But, he wasn't being easily deterred. He scooted off the bed, and came up on my left side. Then......silence.......and all of a sudden I felt something on my nose. It was his nose brushing up on mine, as he said....."I love you Mama". Awwwwwe, I had to "wake up" and give him a big smile and hug, and play with him a little bit for that.
It sure beats my other wake up smooch the other day. I was really sleeping that time, and all of a sudden was awakened by something brushing and rubbing all over my face. As I opened my eyes to see what it was, I heard...."Elmo loves you" in Elmo's voice coming from the Elmo doll- as Hunter pressed the button on Elmo's hand. Hunter apparently thought Elmo needed a kiss.
